Business Law in general, with specific focus on commercial contracts, company law, and mergers & acquisitions.

Ignacio acts as Secretary of the Board of Directors of several companies, national and international, advising and reporting, among others, on mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions, capital operations, joint ventures, and business contracts.


After working for a local law firm for two years, Ignacio joined the multinational firm Price Waterhouse in 1990. In 1999, due to the latter’s merger with Coopers & Lybrand, he became a member of the Legal and Tax Department at Landwell (PricewaterhouseCoopers).

In 2006 Ignacio became a partner at the law firm Padrol Munté, where he set up and managed the firm’s Business Law Department. Early in 2009, the law firm joined forces with Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, where he continued developing his professional career until 2012, when he set up the law firm Pastor & M.Monche Abogados together with his partner Rafael Martínez-Monche.

He is a Member of the Barcelona Bar Association (Il·lustre Col·legi d’Advocats de Barcelona, ICAB).
